Regulation Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE – MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA

We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to manage our NZ Public Practice and CPD team. Based in Wellington, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our members uphold high ethical and professional standards, while helping NZICA meet its statutory responsibilities.

You’ll lead initiatives to modernise processes, develop tools and resources to support member compliance, and foster strong stakeholder relationships. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and excellence of the accounting profession in Aotearoa.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing member compliance with NZ Public Practice Rules and CPD obligations.
• Design and deliver continuous improvement program to streamline regulatory processes.
• Managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and collaborating across CA ANZ to deliver a world‑class member experience.
• Developing tools and resources to support members in complying with their obligations.
• Responding to member queries relating to Public Practice Rules.
