About the role
The role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living.
This includes tasks like helping them with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation.
Depending on the specific work environment, Support Workers may also assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.
What you will bring
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.
Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets on a daily basis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
Possession of a Full New Zealand driver's licence or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
