The Role

Lead at scale. Drive success. Take charge of a multi-site zone and shape the future of retail in Wellington.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Zone Business Manager to lead our Wellington Zone, which includes our Hutt Valley, Petone, Lyall Bay and Wellington Central profit centres. This role is about driving performance across the Wellington region while developing strong, capable teams.

You’ll own Hutt Valley’s P&L and guide other managers within the Wellington Zone to exceed targets, grow sales, manage costs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be the go‑to leader for operational excellence and people development across the zone.

Your Day-to-Day

• Lead, mentor and coach your team within your profit centre with passion to deliver a superior customer experience
• Support other managers within your zone enabling them to succeed and provide guidance where required
• Exceed sales targets whilst holding accountability for the Profit Centres P&L
• Actively leading by example
• Ensuring administrative and audit processes are followed
• Having proven skills associated with maintaining the integrity of inventory
• Promoting, advocating and supporting all company learning and training initiatives
• Maintain a safe environment for our people and customers through actively promoting "safety first" in everything we do
