Join us in strengthening family safety across North Shore and Rodney. As a Safety Assessment Meeting (SAM) Facilitator, you’ll coordinate daily meetings as part of Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harakeke, the Police response to family violence in Waitematā. You’ll work alongside Police, Oranga Tamariki, Te Whatu Ora, Corrections, MSD, and NGOs to assess risk, create Family Safety Plans, and ensure referrals to the right support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily Safety Assessment Meetings and guide consensus on risk allocation.
• Coordinate referrals and monitor progress on plans and tasks.
• Build strong relationships with agencies and NGOs.
• Organise training and networking opportunities for SAM partners.
• Analyse trends and support evidence-based practice.
