Electrical Trades Assistant

Our busy Instrumentation & Electrical Projects team has an excellent entry level opportunity for a trade assistant looking to gain experience in the industrial electrical sector.

Qualifications or experience in a trade are not essential as we provide training and on-the-job opportunities to learn from our best. What’s most important is that you have a solid work ethic, are motivated to learn and can work well in a team.

This role has the potential to lead to a TIS apprenticeship for the right person.

The role :

This is a full time position based in Taranaki, and there may be requirements for overtime work or overnight travel during shutdowns or scheduled project events.

We service the oil & gas, dairy, water, renewable energy sectors and more.

Some specific jobs may include :

• Pulling cables and installing cable trays and supports
• Supporting construction and installation projects
• Helping our technicians keep sites safe and tidy
