We’re seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing team in Christchurch, supporting a range of exciting land development and aged care retirement home projects across New Zealand.
About The Role
You’ll be based in Christchurch but play a key role working across MSQA and construction monitoring on projects across the North Island. The projects range from large‑scale 150‑lot new builds to 10–50‑unit extensions for aged care land development projects. The role involves a mix of site work, design, and project management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Site observation and construction monitoring (approx. 1 / 3 of the role)
- Civil design experience and modelling skills
- Design reviews and council liaison
- Progress claims and operational support
- Client communication and stakeholder engagement
- Occasional travel for site visits (1–2 days per week)
