The Sales Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of sales administration and operations to ensure seamless delivery of customer service, sales processes, and business growth objectives. This role provides structured support to the sales team and acts as a key link between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales contracts, customer information, and pricing.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tender documents, and follow-up correspondence.
- Assist with order processing and liaise with logistics to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Manage CRM systems, databases and electronic filing systems.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and sales materials to support the sales team.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries (phone and email).
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support the sales process.
- Track and analyse sales performance data; assist in preparing monthly sales reports. Monitor and exceed DIFOT expectations.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate customer visits.
Team & Business Support
Provide general office and administrative support, including handling correspondence and phone calls.Assist in planning and coordinating sales events, client visits, and internal meetings.Facilitate smooth communication across departments to ensure alignment with sales objectives.Champion continual improvement, mentoring supervisors and team members to learn and grow.Supporting all new product development processes through to completion.Hands‑on approach across different departments covering Supervisors’ and other key personnel leave periods.Skills & Experience
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.Previous experience in sales operations, sales support, or administration.Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.Background in operations or site management (advantageous for understanding client and supplier needs).Personal Attributes
