About The Opportunity

Join NZX’s Smart team as a Risk and Compliance Specialist, where you’ll help drive a proactive and disciplined approach to risk and compliance, ensuring Smart meets its regulatory obligations whilst fostering a strong risk culture. This second line of defence role is a unique opportunity to make an impact, grow your career, and be part of a values-driven, innovative team dedicated to excellence and integrity.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Risk Management Framework and maintain the risk register across Smart.
• Support the operation and continuous improvement of the Compliance Assurance Programme to meet FMCA and related obligations.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance obligations.
• Prepare and provide timely risk and compliance reporting to management.
• Monitor and improve risk and compliance policies and procedures.
• Support AML / CFT activities, including staff training.
• Drive a proactive risk and compliance culture across Smart.
