Dry Goods Manager - New World Long Bay

About The Role :

We’re looking for a dynamic leader to take charge of all the dry areas of our store : Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, and Liquor. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work alongside your team, tackle daily tasks, and keep operations running smoothly. You’ll also manage rosters, stay on top of weekly admin, and drive performance through clear KPIs.

This is an incredible opportunity to transform the department and establish yourself as a standout leader who delivers results and drives meaningful change.

As A Dry Goods Manager :

• You will have relevant experience with KPI's / managing a team in a similar environment
• Be quick thinking and ready to change the daily plan as needed
• Provide clear direction and ensure tasks are completed
• You will be approachable and clear in your communication
• Consider health and safety and food safety in your actions
• Have a passion for leadership and bringing the best out in your team
• You will respect your team's opinions and ideas
• Be willing to train staff and upskill your team
• Be comfortable as a duty manager and closing / opening the store

This position is a Sunday - Thursday role and does includesomelate-nightfinishes and morningstarts.
