  • Permanent, full-time role (1.0 FTE)
  • Salary band - $74,000 - $107,000 p.a pro-rata, KiwiSaver and free onsite parking

    About the role

    Our Central Lakes Mental Health team is looking for a senior experienced and enthusiastic Mental Health - Occupational Therapist to join our busy Central Otago team, based in Dunstan Hospital - Clyde while working across the Central Lakes region.

    • collaborate in a dynamic multidisciplinary team that supports people from a large geographical area
    • be passionate about your work and hold an unwavering belief in client recovery
    • participate on an after-hours on call roster crisis roster
    • care for a wide range of people with moderate to severe mental health issues
    • conduct assessment, intervention / therapy and transition planning skills for adult consumers.
    • About you

    • Willingness to hold colleagues accountable for high standards of clinical practice
    • Resourceful and resilient; able to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems
    • Ability to work constructively with others to resolve conflict
    • Current registration with Occupational Therapy Board of NZ and a current APC
    • Flexible, adaptable and a strong team player
    • Joining our multi-disciplinary team you will

    • have proven mental health experience
    • be a DAO (Duly Authorised Officer) or be willing to undertake training
