Now, as part of our continued expansion, we are establishing a South Island base in Christchurch, and we’re looking for an experienced marketing leader to spearhead this growth.
About the Role
As the Regional Marketing & Strategic Growth Manager, you’ll lead the development and execution of marketing and business strategies that drive Theia’s presence and partnerships across the South Island.
You will act as both strategist and executor — identifying new business opportunities, building key client relationships, and ensuring our creative and marketing vision is consistently represented in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Theia’s marketing operations and brand expansion in the South Island.
- Develop and implement comprehensive regional marketing and business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, clients, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee local campaigns, events, and brand collaborations to drive visibility and engagement.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and tailor marketing strategies to regional trends.
- Collaborate with Auckland HQ’s design, content, and technical teams to ensure unified messaging and campaign delivery.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare analytical reports for senior management.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to future marketing team members as the South Island division expands.
About You
We’re looking for a strategic, results‑oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing, business development, and technology.
You’ll be equally comfortable in high‑level planning meetings and on‑the‑ground client engagement.
You will ideally have :
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, business, engineering, or a related field.10+ years of progressive experience in marketing or business development roles, preferably within ICT, technology, or creative industries.Proven experience leading marketing strategy and regional market expansion.Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand positioning, and client relationship management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently, with initiative and accountability.Why Join Theia
