Westpac New Zealand is looking for a dedicated Banking Specialist to join our Canterbury teams. You will help our customers build a better future by delivering lending, accounts, insurance, and everyday banking solutions with care, courage, and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go‑to expert in lending, nurturing trusted relationships with customers and community partners.
• Identify opportunities, offer tailored advice, and deliver seamless solutions using smart technology.
• Support the delivery of our day‑to‑day banking services, ensuring compliance with AML and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of credit risk, residential lending principles, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and achieve branch performance targets.
