As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for IT support across Skills Group, helping keep our systems running smoothly and ensuring our teams stay connected, productive and supported.

About the role
You will troubleshoot technical issues, respond to support requests, manage onboarding and offboarding processes, and provide in person assistance across our Ellerslie Head Office and Auckland campuses.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people and creating positive user experiences.
What You Will Be Doing
Deliver first line IT support via phone, email and ticketing system
Manage timely resolution of tickets and escalated complex issues when required
Support onboarding and offboarding, ensuring accounts and equipment are set up or closed correctly
Provide on-site support for Ellerslie Head Office and Auckland campuses
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes and troubleshooting steps
Provide friendly, clear and professional communication to all users
Desired Skills And Experience
Qualification in IT, Computer Science or similar (CompTIA A+ or ITIL an advantage)
Experience providing first line technical support in a service desk or similar environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and basic network issues
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive, patient and customer centred approach
