We are seeking a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
You will assist the Restaurant Manager in the daily operations, ensuring smooth service, high-quality food standards, and excellent customer experience.
Assist the Restaurant Manager in leading and motivating a high-performing front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure exceptional customer service and dining experiences are delivered consistently
Monitor inventory, ordering, and staffing to optimise restaurant performance
Handle day-to-day operations, including scheduling, training, and problem-solving
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high food quality and efficiency
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives
Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards across all restaurant activities
Relieving the Restaurant Manager during absences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Assisting the Restaurant Manager in resolving staff queries, rostering issues, and workplace concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitoring customer feedback and restaurant performance reports to maintain and strengthen brand standards and guest satisfaction.
Assisting in supplier selection, placing food and beverage orders, and ensuring all deliveries meet company standards.
Assessing staffing levels and allocating duties to ensure efficient kitchen and front-of-house operations.
Participating in management meetings and contributing to business planning and operational improvement strategies.
Supervising and supporting the work of team leaders and other staff, including training and onboarding new employees as required.
Identifying and implementing sustainable practices to reduce waste and encourage environmentally responsible operations.
Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times in accordance with New Zealand regulations and company policies.
