Chef (Casual) - Dunedin Hospital x 10

What we are looking for :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Chef to prepare tasty meals for hospital staff, based within the Dunedin Hospital Café. This is a casual role to provide cover during the busy Christmas and New Year period, with the possibility of ongoing shifts.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing, cooking, and serving quality menu items for hospital staff
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and quality control
• Assisting with ordering and menu development when required

Our Ideal Candidate :

• Experience with Asian cuisine is a bonus
• Hardworking, reliable, with a friendly and positive attitude
• Previous experience working as a chef in a commercial kitchen
• Holds food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168) or willing to train
• Thrives under pressure and works well in a team
• Knowledge of temperature procedures and ability to work to timeframes
• Superior customer service skills and a passion for great food and quality
