At FIRST Security, we take pride in our position as a leading security provider in New Zealand. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Auckland team as a Prisoner Escort Officer, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of prisoners.
About the Role :
In this full-time role, you will play a vital role in the safe transfer of prisoners between Courts, Prisons, and Police Stations across the Northland Region. Additionally, you will oversee prisoners during jury trials in the courtroom.

Key Highlights :
Starting rate of $27.80 per hour, moving to $30 per hour after training.
5 days per week – Tues to Sat (guaranteed 42.5 hours per week contract)
Weekly pay for your convenience.

Comprehensive training, including the provision of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and a uniform.
To be considered for this role :
Availability for shifts rostered spanning 0530 to 2100 hours
A clear criminal conviction check (Note : The Clean Slate Act does not apply to this role).
A valid Full NZ Driver's License.
About You :
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Vigilance and impeccable personal presentation.
The ability to interact professionally with prisoners.
The capability to remain composed and think clearly in high-stress situations.
Physical fitness and the ability to pass a drug screening test.
A willingness to complete training courses, including first aid, control and restraint, and law-related modules.
A current Certificate of Approval (Green) or the capacity to obtain one.
