The role is going to be busy, where having to multitask during the day is going to happen, so you will need to be on top of your game, you may come from a retail, administration, or internal project management background, as this will prove invaluable in this role.

Tasks include :
"meet and greet" in the showroom. Hearing the needs of your customer. Finding the most suitable product. Establishing Jobs and monitoring them to completion. Good eye for Detail, Design and Colour. Good listening and product matching. Building rapport with clients. Quick learner of many different products.
About the role
- Uphold proper customer service standards, including greeting customers, answering phones promptly, and maintaining a friendly and service‑oriented environment
- Managing new and existing accounts
- Working with architects’, designers and specifiers in choosing the right stone for certain applications
- Negotiating sales and developing strong relationships in related industries
- Responding to customer enquiries leading to providing quotations and specifications
- Attending trade events and seminars where appropriate
- Dealing with walk‑in customers or by appointment customers
- Stock take – samples and slabs
- Making sample books and sending them out to the clients either via courier or dropping them off
- Conduct client follow‑ups via phone calls, letter and / or emails
- Establish and maintain client files and perform timely follow‑up on programs and projects
- Participate in making sample books for porcelain and engineered stones
- Sets up and maintains client display samples
- Works independently yet cooperatively with the company and team's goals and directives
- Performs other duties as required
- Organize if samples need to be cut, i.e., managing the warehouse staff to help with the sample
- Communication and campaign management : manage all communications and campaigns across Universal Granite with focus on positive outcomes, brand growth and audience engagement
- Social Media Management : develop, implement and manage all social media platforms
