As head teacher, you’ll provide professional leadership and guidance to the teaching team, ensuring high-quality education through effective curriculum implementation in line with licensing criteria and Napier Kindergarten Association policies. This role calls for a leader with passion, energy, and drive, someone who values strong relationships with tamariki, kaiako, whānau, and the wider community, and champions a learning culture built on respect, collaboration, and wellbeing.

You’re a collaborative, relationship-focused leader who communicates openly and values the unique strengths each kaiako brings. You lead with clarity, kindness, and purpose, supporting the growth of others while modelling reflective, high-quality practice. Your strong pedagogical knowledge allows you to guide effective teaching, lead inquiry and professional learning, and cultivate an inspiring environment for all.
