Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to support the delivery of a national technology programme. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident working with stakeholders, comfortable driving project activity, and able to keep delivery on track in a fast-moving environment. We will be preferring candidates with immediate availability.

Contract Details

Length : 6 months
Hours : Full-time
Location : Onsite in Christchurch

What you’ll be doing :

Coordinating and managing day-to-day project activities to ensure milestones and deliverables are met

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication, alignment, and expectations

Supporting project planning, scheduling, reporting, and risk / issue management

Providing structure and visibility to the wider programme team

Ensuring project documentation, governance processes, and progress updates are maintained to a high standard

What we’re looking for :

Proven experience as an Intermediate Project Manager in the IT (Information Technology) space

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and keep people engaged

PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification

Solid understanding of project lifecycles, delivery frameworks, and general IT environments

Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Someone proactive, confident, and able to step in and keep momentum across the programme

Must have valid NZ work authorization
