Employment type : Full time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week Permanent , between the rotating roster from Monday to Sunday 6 : 00 AM to 8 : 30 PM Permanent

Our pay : $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on personal ability

We are a busy bakery shop based in Kaitaia .

To enhance our team, we are now looking for 1 Baker to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for baking, attention to details, ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.

Ideal candidate should have a NZQF Level 4 relevant qualification or higher qualification or any major bachelor degree in any filed   1 year’s relevant work experience in same industry or filed.

Tasks Include :

• Measure and combine ingredients and raw materials using hands / hand tools and other equipment to make doughs for pies, pastry, bread rolls, and other pastry foods.
• Make sweet , savory and special ingredient fillings, sources and toppings.
• Check the quality of the ingredients and the prepared raw materials to make sure quality standard are met
• Set, adjust and monitor oven and other cookware’s temperatures to ensure proper baking and cooking time
• Take out the baked pastry from the forms, trays, unloading, de-panning and cooling the finished products
• Decorate, glaze and adjust the display of the finished products
• Test the finished products to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality requirements
• Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
• Check the cleanliness of equipment and operation of machines before each run, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
