ABOUT THE ROLE – NGĀ ĀHUATANGA O TE TŪRANGA
As a Resource Consents Planner, you’ll play a vital role in processing land use and subdivision resource consent applications, ensuring decisions are clear and consistent. You’ll provide professional advice to applicants, the public, and internal teams, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our processes and systems.

We’re searching for someone who brings both expertise and integrity to their work. You’ll have a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Resource Management Planning or similar and hold membership with the NZ Planning Institute (or be eligible for membership). Your technical competence should be complemented by your ability to communicate clearly - whether you’re writing reports, presenting to committees, or liaising with applicants and the public.
You’ll thrive working collaboratively within a team and have the confidence in your accuracy and attention to detail to make decisions that stand up to scrutiny. You’re comfortable navigating complex situations and solving problems.
