The Role

Our client is growing, and they're looking for a Senior / Principal or high level Intermediate Design Engineer to complete the team and help continue to provide top-notch design, project management and consulting services.

They are a multi-disciplined, multi-regional electrical distribution construction and maintenance business.

You'll bring :

A (Washington Accord Recognised) electrical engineering qualification or equivalent

Experience in a similar position

Sound knowledge of Primary or Secondary Systems Design

Comprehensive understanding of standards and best practice

Evidence of delivering successful projects on time and in budget

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Desirable

Skills and / or familiarity in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit

Current professional registration with a widely recognized industry body such as Engineering NZ would be highly regarded

This role requires a dynamic, customer focussed person who works well in the team from end to end process.

You'll work from concept design through to completion, taking in client liaison and design so you'll be a practical, customer-focussed person who can get on site and understand the balance between design and constructability.
