Instrumentation & Automation Engineer

MilkTestNZ is a world class milk testing laboratory using highly automated processes and advanced technology. We provide farmer payment services to most of the New Zealand dairy industry. A range of microbiology, composition, analytical and specialty tests are carried out in the laboratory on a variety of milk types including cow, goat, sheep, buffalo and deer milk.

We’re looking for a driven Engineer to join our Digital Services team and help us set new standards in equipment management and laboratory excellence!

What You’ll Do :

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize laboratory equipment and robots, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Support exciting projects and initiatives, including the introduction of new equipment and cutting-edge technology.
• Oversee calibration, validation, and maintenance plans.
• Share your expertise by training and supporting laboratory staff, helping to build a knowledgeable and capable team.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver outstanding technical support and continuous improvement.
