Our digital ordering platform is transforming how thousands of wholesale food & beverage businesses operate across New Zealand and Australia. We automate their manual ordering, eliminate inefficiency, and strengthen trading relationships. As we scale, we need a Marketing Specialist to help tell that story.
About the role
As the Marketing Specialist at Upstock, you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to bring bold ideas to life through compelling campaigns and standout content. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be creating, experimenting, and executing every day, from crafting content that truly resonates with our customers to running campaigns that spark awareness, generate leads, and fuel our growth. You’ll be right in the action, owning meaningful projects and seeing the real impact of your work unfold fast. We’re a fast‑growing business looking for someone who’s hungry to learn, ready to jump into new challenges, and excited to stretch and grow their marketing skills with us.
Your responsibilities
- Champion our customers : Get to know our customers and share their stories through great content.
- Execute content plans : Plan and create blogs, customer stories, emails, and website copy that supports the buyer journey.
- Drive social media & campaigns : Create standout social content and own campaigns from start to finish.
- Own webinars : Plan, promote, and deliver webinars while supporting other campaigns with content.
- Analyse & optimise : Track performance, interpret insights, and inform next steps.
- Adapt & innovate : Take on new marketing initiatives and dive into a variety of marketing projects, learning and experimenting as we grow together.
- Collaborate externally : Work with video and design contractors as needed.
What you will bring
2–5 years of experience in marketing, ideally SaaS, marketing agency, or food & beverage.Exceptional writing ability that makes complex topics engaging.Proven experience creating social media content that delivers results.Hands‑on experience with HubSpot or similar CRMs.Editing skills and familiarity with Figma or Canva.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset that drives work forward.You’ll thrive if you
