Client Service Manager - Flexible Disabilities

Medcall Health Personnel – Christchurch, South Island

Since 1997, Florence Nightingale Agency has been dedicated to helping people live the way they choose — at home and in their community. Our team of office staff and support workers provide quality, proactive, and friendly services that make a real difference.

We now have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our Flexible Support Unit, which empowers disabled people and their families to have greater choice and control over the care they receive and how it is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ongoing operations of the IF & FDS Unit
  • Ensure effective end-to-end service delivery that meets contractual goals
  • Build strong knowledge of IF & FDS, including contractual obligations, service provision, purchasing guidelines, and the Enabling Good Lives Principles
  • Drive growth and business development by expanding services to reach more people living with disability, identifying opportunities to innovate, and ensuring our support evolves to meet future needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working within the IF & FDS sector
  • Team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire
  • HR knowledge, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinking and future planning capability
  • Business development experience, spotting and driving growth opportunities
  • Positive, adaptable attitude with resilience under pressure
  • Empathy, integrity, and a commitment to empowering others
