Site Manager

We’re working with a well-established electrical contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial projects and maintaining strong, long‑term client relationships. They’re now searching for a Site Manager / Lead Electrician who can take full ownership of jobs, run sites confidently, and keep work moving without needing constant oversight.

What You’ll Be Doing

Running electrical projects on‑site with full autonomy
Managing sparkies, apprentices, and TAs day‑to‑day
Ensuring quality, safety, and timelines are all on track
Liaising directly with clients, consultants, and builders
Reading plans, resolving issues, and making quick, practical decisions
Staying hands‑on and leading by example when required

What We’re Looking For

Registered (or close to registered) electrician with solid site experience

Ability to run jobs independently from start to finish

Strong understanding of NZ electrical standards and commercial site practices

Confident communicator who can hold their own with clients and contractors

Good organisational skills — keeps jobs moving without chaos

Leadership style that earns respect, not through title but through capability
