Feedmill Operator

We're on the lookout for a Feedmill / Production Operator to join us at our Takanini site.

At our Feedmill, we produce high-quality feed for our operations, and we need great people to help keep things running smoothly.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our product is produced efficiently, economically, and to the highest standards.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or production.

What you'll be doing :

This is a hands-on and varied role that includes :

Weighing in / out of raw material trucks on arrival and departure

Completing all required documentation accurately

Filling mill bins

Batching and mixing feed

General cleaning of the mill

Hours of Work :

You'll typically work an 8-hour shift, with regular opportunities for overtime.

Lunch breaks are included within your 8-hour shift and are paid.

Our operational week runs from

Sunday to Friday

, and you will be working on a

rotating schedule

that includes you working three different shifts :

1st shift : Sunday – Thursday, 2pm – 10pm

2nd shift : Sunday – Friday, 10pm – 6am

3rd shift : Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm

Flexibility to work these shift patterns is essential.

Please note : we operate on most public holidays, except

Christmas Day and New Year's Day

What you'll bring :

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or food processing environment is required

A forklift licence would be highly beneficial

Commitment to wearing PPE and following hygiene protocols

Strong focus on health and safety

Physical fitness and the ability to lift 25kg+
