We are seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join our team at a prestigious airline lounge in Auckland International Airport.
In this role, you'll ensure the lounge is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, creating a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
This is a Permanent Part Time position with 20 hours per week rostered across 7 days of week.
Therefore, the successful applicant MUST be available to work during weekends!
Perform daily cleaning tasks across all lounge areas, including seating, food stations, showers, and restrooms.
Maintain hygiene standards in food service areas and support sustainability goals through proper waste segregation.
Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and complete scheduled deep cleaning tasks.
Keep storage rooms, staff areas, and equipment clean, tidy, and safely stored.
Report maintenance issues or hygiene concerns immediately to the supervisor.
Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role, ideally in a premium environment.
A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
Physically fit, reliable, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Excellent grooming and professional presentation; Police Clearance required.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
