About the Roles

We have two sleepover roles working 105 hours per fortnight in Palmerston North, working one to one with male tangata whaiora and seeking people who are person-centred, who are creative thinkers and enjoy helping others achieve their goals.

Position One

Week 1 : Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5pm until 8am the following dayWeek 2 : Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5pm until 8am the following day

Position Two

Week 1 : Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5pm until 8am the following dayWeek 2 : Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5pm until 8am the following day

We're Looking For Someone With

A Passion for People : Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and support others to achieve their goals.

Driver Licence : A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as driving a MASH van will be part of your role.

Empathy & Understanding : An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles.

Team Player : Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.

Practical Skills : The ability to assist with personal cares.

Previous Experience : Lived or work experience in disability and / or mental health or other health sector.

Relevant Qualification (or commitment to obtain) : A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a commitment to working towards this qualification, which will be funded by MASH Trust.
