Job Description

JO&JOE is a new hostel in Auckland! We are looking for its next Night Audit / Relief Night Manager. Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE by being part of the opening team! The Night Audit / Relief Night Manager is a dual‑role night owl who keeps our records sharp while the city sleeps.

Why you?

• Be the main point of contact for guests overnight, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, and late‑night queries with a warm, professional attitude.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property during the night shift.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or incidents, following established procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure public areas are tidy and ready for the next day.
• Complete nightly financial audits, reconcile transactions, and prepare handover reports for the morning team.
• Step into the Night Manager role with confidence, supporting the team, resolving issues, and keeping operations smooth while they’re off duty.
• Uphold JO&JOE’s standards of service, hospitality, and community spirit, even in the quiet hours.
