Climate Club Programme Lead

Location : Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, New Zealand (Jan 2026 - Jan 2027)
Job Type : Fixed-term contract (12 months), 30 - 40 hours a week
Please note that this role is a fixed-term contract aligned with our current project funding. That said, we invest in long-term development and training. We plan and train for continuity and growth, and always aim to be able to keep staff on long term.
Salary range : $35 - $50 / hour, based on experience
Are you passionate about the environment and eager to inspire people to take action on climate change? Climate Club are seeking a motivated individual to join us as a Climate Club Programme Manager & Workshop Facilitator to deliver a contract from January to December 2026 in Auckland.
We’re Climate Club Aotearoa, a registered charity aiming to help everyday kiwis to understand climate change and take meaningful action to address it.
As a member of our team, you'll manage a variety of projects, including systemic campaigns and workshop contracts / grants with a variety of audiences in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland / Te Tai Tokerau Northland. This will entail taking the initiative to reach out to various groups including community organisations, schools, business associations etc. Once they are interested, the role also entails coordinating times, facilitators, and delivering workshops. You may also work to deliver other projects, such as our 2026 general election campaign and Climate Club Challenges series.
You'll work with a supportive, tight-knit team of climate activists, writers and facilitators who care a lot about climate. You’ll be working for a cause that truly matters.
