About the Role

As a Category Manager within our Merchandise team, you’ll operate in a highly competitive market and be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that give us a clear edge. This role is all about creating a compelling offer for our customers while achieving strong financial results.

Key responsibilities include :

• Delivering company and category financial targets.
• Developing and maintaining the Mitre 10 merchandise offer.
• Planning and executing category strategy and promotional programs.
• Building strong supplier relationships and implementing best practice.
• Communicating merchandise initiatives effectively across stores, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Coaching and mentoring a high-performing Category Assistant team.

This is a role for someone with energy, influence, and a passion for retail excellence.
