Fire Safety Training Technician

PWFP Fire Safety is expanding and looking for a people-focused trainer based in Invercargill who enjoys teaching adults and getting hands‑on. You'll deliver practical fire safety training to client teams, run engaging demonstrations and drills, and handle routine servicing of extinguishers, hose reels and signage. Full training is provided, so all you need is confidence, initiative, and a genuine interest in helping people stay safe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging fire safety sessions for groups of 5 to 20 staff
• Run practical demonstrations and evacuation refreshers
• Tailor content to each client site and audience, keeping sessions interactive
• Inspect and service basic fire equipment, recording findings accurately
• Plan your day, communicate ETAs, and keep clients informed
• Travel regularly through Southland, Central Otago and the wider South Island
• Travel requirements : 2 nights away / week (all expenses paid)
