The company and the role

This dealership is a part of a well-established and leading automotive group and they are looking for an Automotive Technician to join their Hamilton workshop and contribute to the success of the team.

Joining the technical team means aligning yourself with a respected national organisation with a network of dealerships throughout New Zealand.

You will form a key part of the workshop team where you will perform a range of duties including servicing, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on passenger vehicles.

Engine rebuilds and overhauls, as well as WOF inspections and electrical fault finding and repairs will also form part of your role.

Requirements

Relevant automotive trade qualification as well as 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a franchise environment

Experience on premium or volume brands will be considered

Major repair and fault-finding skills are a must

A current WOF licence is required, or a willingness to get one

Good diagnostics capability

Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

A clean and current driver's licence

Team player
