There is a lot of scope to really make this role your own!As a Recruitment Advisor, you will provide operational recruitment guidance, advice, and support to people leaders. You will be responsible for delivering candidate-centric recruitment services, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, you will support junior team members and lead portfolio-specific projects and recruitment events.Change often brings both challenges and opportunities, and working at Health New Zealand during a period of transformation is no exception. • Key Responsibilities :
• Responsible for the full recruitment process of all specific clinical and non-clinical roles from sourcing to onboarding.
• To work closely with clinicians to understand the vacancies you are recruiting to.
• Deliver recruitment services that align with workforce strategies
• Provide advice on sourcing and candidate attraction strategies
• Coach hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and assessment methods.
• Ensure timely communication and support for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Participate in health sector employment initiatives and recruitment events.

• Health New Zealand is transforming. • This is a 12 month fixed term role, based at either Palmerston North Hospital or Whanganui hospital. The role will primarily manage recruitment of Whanganui vacancies so there will be travel involved if you are based in Palmerston North.

• About You :
• To succeed in this role, you will have :
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and / or equivalent experience in a recruitment or talent role.
• Relevant experience in an advisory position in recruitment
• Knowledge of NZ legislation and its application in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.
• Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Proven ability to engage effectively in face-to-face communication across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience using social media and other platforms as a strategic tool for recruitment and employer branding.
