Lead and guide an experienced team of commercial underwriters.Strengthen relationships with broker partners in Auckland & Northland.Contribute to strategy and coach the team to drive growth across Property, Motor and Liability portfolios.Receive full support to enhance leadership capability and technical expertise.Enjoy hybrid working with flexible arrangements.Your new role
Lead and inspire a team of commercial underwriters, providing technical guidance and coaching.Oversee day‑to‑day underwriting activities, ensuring timely service for quotes, renewals and policy maintenance.Build strong, collaborative relationships with intermediaries and identify opportunities to grow our book of business.Manage a portfolio of complex and larger accounts, delivering tailored solutions.Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence and deliver on strategic objectives.About you
Technical knowledge in commercial underwriting across Property, Motor & Liability.Natural ability to lead, coach and empower a team.Excellent relationship‑building skills with brokers and stakeholders.Proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities and solving complex problems.Confidence in managing larger, more complex accounts.About QBE
