About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

The Category Assistant provides administration support to the Grocery Non-foods team within Woolworths. The role supports the continual improvement of our ranges through maintaining and creating data in the Enterprise Management Systems that drive our business.

Respond promptly to store and supplier queries (within 24 hours) and manage cases in Partner Hub.

Support range reviews, promotional loading, display checks, and ensure brochure / catalogue accuracy.

Maintain accurate data entry for existing and new articles, working end-to-end as one team.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Category teams to drive value and customer experience.

Draft communications, handle customer complaints, and assist with team deliverables and administrative tasks using systems like SAP, Partner Hub, Google, and Microsoft suites.

Protect the Woolworths brand by adhering to regulatory standards and facilitate collaborative planning with suppliers.

Clear and concise communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.

Strategic thinker, able to develop category plans for sustainable growth.

Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Collaborative and adaptable, willing to learn and work with the wider team.

Strong commercial acumen and proficient in Excel and Google Suite.

Professional, customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
