Are you a Registered Mental Health Professional interested in making a difference in the lives of adults impacted by sexual harm?
About HELP
Since 1982, HELP Auckland has been standing alongside survivors of sexual violence by providing a range of services – including free counselling, and support to adults, children and their whānau.
Our vision is of a society where relationships are built on cooperation and respect. Guided by this, our purpose is to support and empower survivors in their healing from the effects of sexual abuse and assault, and to work towards the prevention of such harm in our communities. At HELP, you’ll be part of an organisation with a proud history, a strong commitment to social change, and a team deeply dedicated to making a difference every day.
The Role
We are looking for a therapist to join our friendly and supportive all-woman team to help us in our mission to support and empower women in their healing from the effects of sexual violence. We provide supervision, flexible working hours, and opportunities for ongoing professional development. Our service also runs a DBT program which you have the opportunity to be involved in.
This is a part-time role (21.5 hours per week) – including Monday Team meetings. This role will operate between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday.
