ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven, collaborative, approachable and empathetic safety professional, who will be positive and motivated to do the utmost to ensure our workplaces are always safe and healthy environments for everyone.

You will be part of a team who are fostering a positive safety culture, encouraging team members to become actively engaged in safety and wellbeing activities.

You will take a consultative, advisory approach and of course be solutions and outcomes oriented.

Working with our Leadership Teams across the group, you will be required to support, mentor, develop and implement the Company's day-to-day SHS practices.

Hours : Mon-Fri, 8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm

Key Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Assisting and participating in implementing and monitoring our SHS programmesGuiding and supporting our Leadership TeamsFostering worker participation in SHSModelling best practice health, safety and risk leadershipProviding strategic input into the continuous improvement of our system, processes and behavioural safety elements.

What you will bring

A minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety,or similar.

If you currently do not have this qualification you need to be prepared (under our sponsorship) to attain it.An absolute obsession about influencing keeping people safe and healthy and be able to share and instil this passion with a diverse frontline workforce and engaged leadership teams.Have highly developed inter-personal skills and be an exceptional communicatorexperience in the logistics sector or other high-risk industrial environments
