Behavioral Sciences & Community Services Adjunct Pool

Overview

Adjunct Instructor in counseling and counselor education curriculum to serve part-time in distance education. The position is a part‑time appointment in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Community Services for distance education instruction and may include assigned course work on both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Academic Year (anticipated start August 2022)

Minimum Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate in Counseling, Counselor Education, or related field from a regionally accredited university is preferred; Graduate of CACREP-accredited program preferred. ABD status and the ability to complete the terminal degree within two years will be considered. Minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in one or more of the following areas : Counseling, Counselor Education.
• Faith, service and lifestyle that meets University expectations.
• Leadership abilities with a vision to develop and enhance programs in the department.
• Evidence of successful marketplace experience.
• Experience and / or knowledge or ability in teaching in online delivery formats desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate across diverse populations in verbal and written expression.
• Willingness to collaborate and sustain a collegial environment.
• Active participation in a local Assemblies of God church preferred.

Salary : Determined according to established distance education compensation levels.
