This role involves the use of a truck with a Hook Lift unit to collect scrap metal. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing timely bin collection services with a focus on safety, customer service , punctuality, and a great, flexible attitude.

Full training will be provided for the successful applicants!

Your responsibilities will include :

• Ensuring efficient service to customers by collecting scrap metal in a timely manner.
• Communicating with management to identify any on-site concerns regarding OHS, environmental, or collection issues arising.
• Following a daily work plan for routine collections, our site safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Operating any additional mobile plant / equipment (forklift, excavator, etc. where licensed) to assist with collection / loading.
• Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required.
