Class 2 / 4 Civil WTR Operator

Civil All Rounder

We are looking for a Class 2 / 4 / 5 all rounder who’s ready to take on an exciting challenge and work on construction projects in Christchurch! This is a full-time position that offers an exciting mix of driving, operating and labour work. You’ll be operating a range of machinery, including tipper trucks, loaders, water carts, and rollers, all while overseeing some of Christchurch’s most exciting and challenging construction projects. What You Will Be Doing :

Safely operate Class 2 / 4 / 5 trucks and other machinery on-site and on the road (, tipper trucks, loaders, rollers, water carts)

Conduct pre-start checks and maintain accurate records of duties and hours

Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard, maintaining a strong focus on Health and Safety

Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the site

Maintain a proactive attitude to problem-solving and project delivery

What We’re Looking For :

Minimum of 2 years operating experience in the civil or construction space

Strong knowledge of construction practices and structural knowledge

General knowledge and experience in civil construction

Construction or building experience preferred

Water Reticulation Certification would be a bonus

Foreman experience or the ability to lead a small team is highly regarded

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

Water Cart experience and Road Ranger ability (preferred)

A valid and clean Class 2 / 4 / 5 license (WTR preferred)

Commitment to Health and Safety standards

Reliable transport and flexibility to work on-site as required

Ability to pass pre-employment checks (MOJ, Drug Test etc)

Site Safe certification (we can assist with this if needed)
