Benefits and Remuneration

• 50-54 / hr depending on experience
• Flexible permanent part-time position working 0.6FTE (around 3 days a week)
• Work Monday to Friday within business hours
• 10-minute drive from Waihi Beach, known for it's white sand, surfing, and fishing spots

What You'll Be Doing

• Assess patients with chronic conditions such as respiratory & cardiovascular health, and diabetes
• Ensure prescriptions are safe, appropriate, and within scope of practice
• Actively engage in patient education and support
• Facilitate proper triage and patient care
• Provide patient education and promote health and prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and professional development

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• Registered Nurse Prescriber with a current APC
• Proven experience as a Nurse Prescriber in primary or acute care
• Proficiency in clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, driven by a passion for patient care
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry best practices
